East Point parents play a vital role in the education of their children and the success of the school.

Research shows that, when parents are involved in their child’s education, among a host of other benefits, students have better classroom behavior, reach a higher level of academic achievement, are more likely to attend and succeed in college and are happier in school and at home.

Since the school’s inception in 2011, parent, teachers and administrators have been working as a team to create an atmosphere where students can thrive. We encourage every parent to get involved in their child’s education.

The Panda Parent Association  and SIC are two great ways parents can get involved at East Point.

Panda Parent Associaton

The Panda Parent Association exists to bridge the connection between teachers and home. The Pand Parent Association strives to enrich each student’s educational experience by providing additional resources for our teachers and students, as well as sponsoring a variety of school activities and events. Contact at pandaparent@eastpointsc.org.

SIC

SC Charter schools are not required to have School Improvement Council’s by state law like other public district schools. At EPA we feel that the benefits of a SIC are profound and we have  a very active council that works with our principal on setting goals for the school.
