LEARNING
East Point Academy Middle Campus serves 6th through 8th grade. We are globally-minded and provide a rich and rigorous education to the students we serve. Middle Campus students have built a strong base of Mandarin and can focus on academics in a language-rich environment.
Our academic offerings include Algebra I, English I, Geometry, and Mandarin 1, 2,3, and 4 as well as several electives that allow students to earn High School credits.
Middle Campus is a language-rich model with up to 25% of the day in Mandarin.
50% of our 8th Grade students averaged 4 high school credits, with many earning up to 8.

Beta Club
The National Beta Club recognizes high academic achievement, promotes character and social responsibility, encourages service involvement in school and community, fosters leadership skills, and provides settings for your child to develop interpersonal relationship skills. To receive an invitation for induction into Junior Beta Club, your child was required to maintain all A’s and B’s, have no referrals, exemplify our Panda Core Values, and receive recommendations from teachers.
Cross Country
Cross-country running is a sport in which teams and individuals run a race on open-air courses over natural terrain such as dirt or grass. East Point Academy Cross Country will compete against other schools in meets.
LeadHERship
LeadHERship serves 8th-grade girls. Club members will learn about teamwork, conflict resolution, responsibility, empathy, and core principles of positive behavior and leadership. Club members will work towards being leaders within the school and community and will serve Middle Campus with the production of a monthly newsletter.
Middle Campus Archery
Archery is open to all middle school students. In order to try out for the team, students must have a C average or better in ALL of their 5 core classes and have no behavioral issues. Students who would like to participate in archery will be provided with all necessary equipment, although they may use their own bow (the Genesis original) if they have one. Students new to archery will also have an introduction course to ensure that everyone understands the steps and procedures set in place for safety.
Middle Campus Basketball
Middle Campus offers both a Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball team. While our basketball teams are still young, East Point’s reputation as a basketball powerhouse is on the rise. This year’s middle school basketball teams promise to keep that trajectory. Team members tryout to be selected to represent our school and undergo a strenuous program of training and conditioning.
Middle Campus Student Council
The purpose of the Student Council is to give Middle Campus students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. Student Council will assist in coordinating student activities/events, stimulate and develop good citizenship and democracy among students, encourage leadership through service, and treat everyone with dignity and respect.
Panda Cheer
Elite Cheer Squad will cheer at Middle school sporting events such as Basketball, Cross Country, and others TBD in addition to performances at Arts night and school events. The squad will also have the opportunity to compete in local competitions.
Run Hard
Helping kids build the foundation for success in life by teaching them life values through the sport of running. We teach teamwork, wise choices, and how to show positive peer pressure, honesty, respect, leadership, and perseverance while training everyone to finish a 5k!

If you’re looking for an after-school program your child will love, this is the one.
