Brendan is a native of South Carolina. She was born and raised in Aiken, SC. In her pursuit of higher education, she has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Charleston, a diploma from New York University, and training towards a Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education degree from SC State University. Brendan greatly enjoys learning and teaching. She values being a life-long learner. She is passionate about helping children succeed by teaching them to become their very best academically, socially, and emotionally. Brendan loves spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She enjoys time outdoors, traveling, new experiences, and adventures. content
Darian Lybrand

Darian Lybrand went to Columbia College. She graduated in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Speech/Language Sciences. Lybrand is currently East Point Academy’s Speech-Language Pathologist! Go pandas!

Jayme Banfield

Jayme Banfield grew up in Southwick, Massachusetts, and attained the University of South Carolina graduating with a degree in Experimental Psychology. Banfield began mentoring at Hands Middle School helping students with their academics while working with the University of South Carolina’s research lab. She began working at East Point Academy in 2021 and enjoys working with the children and being a part of the team. In her free time, you can find Banfield enjoying time with her family, playing with their dogs, going on hikes, and crafting!
Marcia Blackwell

Marcia B. Blackwell grew up in Charlotte, NC, and Charleston, SC. She attended UNC-Charlotte for 1 year and graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. She began her nursing career working in NICU, also worked on an IV team, and spent 30 years doing Home Health. She began working at EPA as a school nurse in March of 2018, after being retired for 5 years. Working with the staff and students has been such a blessing. In her spare time, you will find Marcia spending time on Lake Murray with family or reading on the screen porch while enjoying the lake view.
