Rachel Haltiwanger grew up in Greer, SC, and attended The University of South Carolina graduating with a degree in Elementary Education and an Endorsement in Gifted and Talented Education. This will be Haltiwanger’s third year teaching and her third year as the 5th Grade Reading teacher. In her free time, you can find Haltiwanger at the gym, spending time with friends and family, or watching basketball. She is an avid Gamecocks Women’s Basketball fan!

Jenny Saffold Carroll grew up in Barnwell SC, and graduated from Newberry College with a degree in Education. Carroll has 30 years of experience in Elementary Education. She came on board at East Point Academy in the summer of 2021. She enjoys sharing her love for learning with her students. In her free time, Carroll can be found at the gym, walking, and spending time with her family.
