Ying Yin grew up in Hunan, China, and graduated from Beijing Normal University with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. After 8 years working in the logistics and financial consulting field, she came to Columbia SC, spent 12 years as a full-time housewife, and raised two wonderful kids Willam and Anna who are also students at East Point Academy. Now Ying wants to contribute her extensive Mandarin knowledge and passion to help more students of East Point Academy. In her free time, she loves cooking, painting, and reading, and also exploring the cultures and foods around the world!

Yixuan Lin grew up in Henan, China. In 2003, she attended Sichuan Normal University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting and Hosting in 2007. After graduating, she went to an advertising and communication company working as an advertising creative. She has 6 years of teaching experience in the Chinese School of SC. She came on board at East Point Academy in 2021 and was hired as a full-time 4K Mandarin teacher. She is very proud of joining the Panda family! In her free time, she loves playing with her kids, traveling, gardening, and reading.

Michelle Brigman grew up in Irmo, South Carolina, and attended Columbia College graduating with a degree in Family and Child Studies with an Emphasis in Early Childhood Education. Brigman began her teaching career in 2013 at the Cutler Jewish Day School as a preschool assistant teacher. She began working at East Point Academy in 2017 as a Co-Kindergarten teacher. This is her fourth year working as a team with the best, Ms. Allman. In her free time, you can find Brigman spending time with her family, playing board games, and watching Disney movies.

Sarah Allman grew up in Irmo, SC, and attended The University of South Carolina graduating with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She began working at East Point Academy in 2013 and coaching the middle school basketball team in 2017. She was East Point Academy’s Teacher of the Year in 2016. In her free time, you can find Ms. Allman at the gym getting her fitness on or at home snuggling with her three fur children.
