Art Club
Art Club gives students the opportunity to work on projects and extend the techniques learn in art class. Art club is a fun way to explore creativity and get to know other artists. Art Club members are creating large group artwork for school! (First come, first serve; 20 spots available)
Art Lessons
Students will receive weekly instruction on Art or Chinese Painting in a small group setting. Each lesson is one hour and all materials are provided. Lessons are taught by Wang Laoshi.
Chinese Painting
Traditional Chinese painting is considered one of the oldest continuous artistic traditions in the world. One does not become a master in Chinese painting easily. It is a technically demanding art form, requiring a lot of patience, concentration, and practice. Students in Chinese Painting will learn the foundational techniques needed to build a lifelong love for this style of artistic creation.
Elementary Dance Team
The East Point Academy Elementary Dance team participants will learn Chinese movement and Chinese culture. East Point Academy’s Chinese Dance Team will learn a variety of dances in order to perform at school and community events. Being on the Dance Team is based on an audition.
Private Music Lessons
Students will receive weekly instruction on playing the piano/cello in a one-on-one setting. Each lesson is 30 minutes and students will need to purchase recommended practice books.

Cross Country
Cross-country running is a sport in which teams and individuals run a race on open-air courses over natural terrain such as dirt or grass. East Point Academy Cross Country will compete against other schools in meets.
Elementary Archery
Archery is a great way for students of all skill sets to become involved with athletics. Through Archery, students learn how their part as an individual helps toward the team goal. Students in 4th through 5th grade at East Point Elementary Campus have the opportunity to begin our competitive archery program. Archery team members improve focus, build strength, strengthen hand-eye coordination, learn patience, and make lasting friendships.
Gymnastics
The Flip-Fly class incorporates tumbling, tramps, balance, and acrobatics. We are teaching each child a new way to Flip and Fly to become more versatile, so they can gain their own style in gymnastics, cheer & sports. Each class is packed full of parkour techniques, coordination activities, tumbling routines, and body conditioning.
Middle Campus Archery
Archery is open to all middle school students. In order to try out for the team, students must have a C average or better in ALL of their 5 core classes and have no behavioral issues. Students who would like to participate in archery will be provided with all necessary equipment, although they may use their own bow (the Genesis original) if they have one. Students new to archery will also have an introduction course to ensure that everyone understands the steps and procedures set in place for safety.
Middle Campus Basketball
Middle Campus offers both a Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball team. While our basketball teams are still young, East Point’s reputation as a basketball powerhouse is on the rise. This year’s middle school basketball teams promise to keep that trajectory. Team members tryout to be selected to represent our school and undergo a strenuous program of training and conditioning.
Panda Cheer
Elite Cheer Squad will cheer at Middle school sporting events such as Basketball, Cross Country, and others TBD in addition to performances at Arts night and school events. The squad will also have the opportunity to compete in local competitions.
Panda Cheer: Pep Team
Cheer team that will cheer at Elementary level sporting events (Basketball, Run Hard, Others TBD) as well as participate in assemblies and school events. The squad will also have the opportunity to compete in local competitions.
Run Hard
Helping kids build the foundation for success in life by teaching them life values through the sport of running. We teach teamwork, wise choices, and how to show positive peer pressure, honesty, respect, leadership, and perseverance while training everyone to finish a 5k!

3D Print Club
Learn how to create and print 3D designs using various software. Each week the club will focus on new projects and ideas driven by members’ interests.
Beta Club
The National Beta Club recognizes high academic achievement, promotes character and social responsibility, encourages service involvement in school and community, fosters leadership skills, and provides settings for your child to develop interpersonal relationship skills. To receive an invitation for induction into Junior Beta Club, your child was required to maintain all A’s and B’s, have no referrals, exemplify our Panda Core Values, and receive recommendations from teachers.
Cub Club
This club will consist of 5th-grade students who will volunteer in 4K classrooms. Students will assist with morning work and play while learning safety, life skills, and child-care strategies.
Green Team
The Green Team is an extra-curricular club working to make our school community a better place to live through students learning, doing, and teaching others about reducing, reusing, and recycling.
LeadHERship
LeadHERship serves 8th-grade girls. Club members will learn about teamwork, conflict resolution, responsibility, empathy, and core principles of positive behavior and leadership. Club members will work towards being leaders within the school and community and will serve Middle Campus with the production of a monthly newsletter.
Middle Campus Student Council
The purpose of the Student Council is to give Middle Campus students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. Student Council will assist in coordinating student activities/events, stimulate and develop good citizenship and democracy among students, encourage leadership through service, and treat everyone with dignity and respect.
Panda Press
Students will produce a monthly publication. The publication will be sent electronically and a large version will be displayed on the billboard by the cafeteria. Sections include “Kindness Challenge,” “Upcoming Events,” and “Student Spotlight.”
3D Print Club
Learn how to create and print 3D designs using various software. Each week the club will focus on new projects and ideas driven by members’ interests.
