Reading Programs

We have so many fun and exciting reading programs to help motivate your child to keep reading all year long!

In the fall, we participate in Read Your Way to the Big Game in which students all across the state of South Carolina complete a reading log for a chance to earn free football game tickets to the Carolina vs. Clemson football game! In the winter, we hold our Elementary Scholastic Book Fair and the Middle Campus Book Fair in the Spring. As our most exciting and popular library event, the library transforms into a book store for an entire week. Each book purchased raises funds to help support our library!

In the winter, we also hold our Literacy Night. Literacy Night is a school-wide event in which families can enjoy literacy-based activities all over the school and shop the Book Fair late!

In the spring, we participate in the Fireflies Reading Program. Every student that earns a “home run” on their reading log wins a free baseball game ticket to a special Fireflies baseball game! And finally, EPA offers a fun Summer Reading Program. Students who complete their reading goals are eligible to win a special prize in the fall when we return to school.
